About
This tool exists because I kept hitting the same wall.
Every time I shipped an MVP, the same questions came up: Does my Privacy Policy actually cover what I'm collecting? Does my Terms of Service hold up? Am I exposed under GDPR? And now — does my AI feature need EU AI Act documentation before August 2026?
The answer was always weeks of research, legal uncertainty, and a generic template that had nothing to do with what was actually running on my site. For most indie founders and small teams, proper compliance tooling is out of reach — the law firms are priced for enterprises, and the templates are guesswork.
Regulatory Signals automates the evidence layer: what's actually on your site, what's required by the relevant frameworks, and what the gap looks like — as a draft your legal counsel can work from, not a document you're expected to rely on alone.
Who built this
Elyas
Founder & builder — scratching my own itch on compliance for MVPs
Not a lawyer. Not a compliance consultant. A builder who got tired of not knowing whether my products were covered — and built the monitoring layer I needed. The legal judgment still belongs with qualified counsel. This tool just makes sure they have the right evidence to work from.
[email protected]How we operate
Transparent about limitations
Every scan result carries a confidence rating. Medium and low confidence findings are explicitly flagged for human review. We don't pretend the tool is more certain than it is.
No legal advice, ever
Generated documents are drafts. Your qualified legal counsel reviews and approves before any document is relied upon for compliance decisions. That's not a workaround — it's the correct workflow.
Open about sources
The regulatory sources we monitor are publicly listed. We don't claim proprietary access to regulatory intelligence — we systematically monitor the same public sources your legal team would check, and surface the signal faster.
Privacy-first
We scan sites to detect data collection practices. It would be contradictory to collect more data than necessary ourselves. See our Privacy Policy for specifics.
